I have seen many queries, misunderstandings, and rumors regarding Pakistan’s first lunar mission iCube Qamar, that it is a fake mission or it was China’s mission, etc…

So let me clear your doubts.

In short, everything is real and Pakistan successfully launched iCube-Q using China’s rocket collaboratively

Here is the easy-to-understand explanation:

China Offered Pakistan that you could join us collaboratively in the Chang’e-6 mission to launch your i-Cube Qamar Mission with us.

Chang’e6 is China’s sixth lunar mission to explore the moon’s dark side and to get soil samples.

iCube Qamar was designed by the Institute of Space Technology (IST) in collaboration with China’s Shanghai University and Pakistan’s national space agency SUPARCO

China also collaborated with other countries in this mission as well, here is the list:

1. Farance

2. Italy

3. Sweden

4. Pakistan

It was China’s launchpad and China’s rocket to deploy all the payloads in the space.

Its just like, NASA use SpaceX’s rocket to deploy their payloads in the space to cutout project cost.

• Some are asking why there was no Pakistani flag on the rocket at the time of launch. So why it would be?

We used China’s rocket as a taxi, just to go in space, so should we name that taxi as our own property?

The rocket itself is another technology and has value, we didn’t develop that, we just used that.

• Why Chinese were doing commentary on the launch? Because it was China’s mission as well, we were just passengers on that journey (owning our mission inside)

It’s better to search and study something if you lack information or don’t know about it, rather than posting anything on social media without understanding, due to a lack of knowledge. Express yourself responsibly, and half of the social problems will be solved that way.

Secondly, try to be at least a little bit positive thinker and learn to appreciate others. Pakistan at least tried to enter the space industry by this mission, so we should appreciate them that today, with the help of someone we launched this mission, ensuring that tomorrow we will become capable enough to have our own launchpad and rocket.

Having a conversation seems easy, but try achieving even 1% of that development yourself, and you’ll realize how much effort goes into even the smallest of missions like that.
